I have a confession to make, I used to hate reading. I was that student in middle and high school that didn’t read the assigned books, or only read the first and last page of the chapter. In college, I majored in a science field, so scientific journal articles it was. If you suffer from insomnia, I have a few I can send you!
That said, in recent years I have re-discovered reading and now LOVE it. I first started with Audiobooks (post to come) when I was traveling 10+ hours a week for work. When that summer came, I started incorporating more reading by the pool.
I love fiction stories that I quickly identify with the characters. No romance novels or murder mysteries for me. I also have found that I very much enjoy WWII stories with female heroines, they’re so gutsy.

WWII Fiction Picks
In addition to quick reads, I also enjoy WWII historical fiction, specifically those with strong female characters. Whether a complete account of events or fiction, there were so many amazing women that contributed towards the efforts of WWII.
FREE BOOKS, yes please. If you’re an Amazon Prime Member, you can get one book free each month from a list of ~7 books. Be sure to check it out, I’ve used it as a way to read books that I wouldn’t normally read.
